Boxed By Bre gives patient tech help in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we only use your information to help you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• What you tell us in a form. Your name, phone number, email, town or ZIP code, what you need help with and any notes. The class, price-watch, volunteer and email-update forms ask for similar details.
• Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, what you bought and whether it went through. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic visit counts. The site counts visits, which page was opened, the website that sent you, the kind of device (phone or computer) and taps on the call button. This tells us what's working. We don't use advertising cookies or follow you around the web.
• Records of our work. Bre keeps notes, and sometimes photos of the finished setup, as a record of the work done. These never include your passwords, messages or personal files.

During a visit

When Bre helps with your device, she may see what's on your screen. She doesn't copy, keep or share your personal files, photos, messages or passwords. You type your own passwords and payment details, on your own device.

How we use it

• To reply to you, set up your free video call and schedule help.
• To provide the service you paid for, and send receipts and reminders (for example, a reminder if you haven't used your membership in 90 days).
• To send the updates you asked for, like class dates. You can stop these anytime.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the services that run the business, and only what they need: Google Workspace (email and form records), Stripe (payments) and our scheduling tool. We'll also share information if the law requires it, or to respond to a payment dispute about a service you received.

Links to stores

Some of Bre's picks link to stores, and some of those links pay Bre a small commission at no extra cost to you. When you click through, that store's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we're working together, and after that only as long as we need it for tax and business records.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you. Email bre@boxedbybre.com and we'll take care of it.

Young people

Our services are for adults. If you're under 18 and applying to volunteer, please have a parent or guardian's permission first.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
